Tickets Going Fast for UWS CERT 10th Anniversary Celebration

Upper West Side CERT’s Tenth Anniversary Celebration, scheduled for March 1, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the American Museum of Natural History, is just around the corner. We expect this event to sell out, so register now. A few tickets are still available but they’re going fast.

UWS CERT to Launch 10th Anniversary Year at the American Museum of Natural History

On March 1, 2017, Upper West Side CERT will begin its 10th year with a celebratory event, hosted by the American Museum of Natural History. The gathering will kick off a year of neighborhood activities designed to raise awareness about emergency preparedness and increase community involvement.

UWS CERT Receives 2015 Citywide Deployment Award

In a recognition ceremony last night, Upper West Side CERT (M7) was presented with the 2015 Citywide Deployment Award by Commissioner Joseph J. Esposito and the NYC Emergency Management Department. The award recognizes the team’s outstanding performance in responding to recent crises, including the East Village and East Harlem gas explosion disasters, and the Ebola outbreak.

Another Successful National Night Out Against Crime

Upper West Side CERT set up information tables at three area locations for the 28th Annual National Night Out (NNO) celebration, a nationwide crime/drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW).
